[Hello Pokéworld! The audio starts a few seconds before the video, so you get to hear a young man’s voice at first.]

Wow, this is some impressive technology! I wonder what powers it...it’s way too small to fit a stone in anywhere...

[And then the video switches on, showing an attractive young man with a glass eyepatch peering curiously at his gear’s screen. Behind him is a view of the sky that's about half blue and half cloud.]

I wonder if it’s Valuan. [A pause, and then:] Ahem, sorry. I got carried away.

Hello, my name is Vyse and I’d like someone listening to this to help me out and tell me what country I landed myself in this time. It’s too bright to be Valua, too large to be Ixa-Taka, and too green to be Glacia...even though there’s snow everywhere. I don’t recognize any of the local landmarks, either.

Oh, and if someone could tell me this little one is. [He turns the screen towards a Meowth nearby, who nyows at it and reaches out to tap her paw against the gear a couple times.] She’s tried to steal my eyepatch twice, and keeps following me around. I mean, I don’t have a problem, but...I’m really confused.

If my crew is listening, uh...Aika is in charge until I can get back to you. It's not the most ideal situation, I know, but I'll try to meet back up with you guys as soon as I can!

I'm afraid I asked for any information I might use to navigate a course for familiar lands on my finding myself stranded, myself, dear boy, only to be informed by our fellows here that it'd be of no help.

Ah! An admiral? I've never heard of the Mushroom Kingdom, wonder what country that's...

...Wait, another world? There are other worlds outside of Arcadia? What's it like?

[He's explored most of his own world, and the possibility of other worlds gets him excited. He has to force himself calm, though.]

["Blue Rogues"? He'd already implied he was in a traveling "crew of some kind, and that name was a bit of an eyebrow-raiser - but this lad really doesn't seem remotely "roguish" enough to dwell on it.] Vyse. A pleasure.

My world is... vibrant, to say the very least. Fantastically so. Every bit of it varies from all others to a point that the thrill of traveling it - for me, I can say - hasn't failed me in all my experience, eh? The people, too, come in innumerable kinds. I'm not in fact a human, myself. All of those who are not who find themselves here become human, by whatever means, to fit in with the local population, or so I understand.

And how does this compare to your world, hm?

My world is...a lot different from this one, that's for sure. Wherever you are, you can always see one of the Moons--there's six--even in the daytime, but I haven't been able to see any of this world's Moons. No airships, either...I guess that's because this town isn't a port?

[That's enough speculation. He could go on for hours about how this world is so weird compared to his own. Bobbery mentioned that he wasn't normally human, and that's interesting too.]

You're not normally human? What are you? You look human enough to me...you're not a ghost or something are you?

Dear me, no. I am what's called a Bob-Omb - none others I've spoken to seem to have ever heard of us in their worlds. Curiously enough, on my end, where I come from humans are in the scant minority, wot?

Think of us as living bombs. ...My natural shape is quite markedly different from this one.

You lead an airship crew, do you?

[He looks slightly disappointed; he'd hoped that Bobbery might be a ghost so he could tell Aika he'd met a nice ghost. Oh well. 'living bomb' is close enough.]

Wow, humans are the minority? Everywhere in your world, or just in your kingdom?

And yes, I am captain of the Delphinus crew.

You're not exactly in your homeworld, I'm afraid. There isn't really a name for this world but the region I believe you're in should be Johto.

As for you pokemon, its a Meowth if I recalled my memory. There's usually some kind of companion when you first come to this place.

A Meowth? She's like a cat, right? She looks enough like one, but I've only owned a huskra, so I don't know much about cats.

Forgive me for asking but what's a huskra?

From what I know about cats, they seem to sleep alot. Maybe yours is coulld be the same way?

It's uh...they're small, with short legs and long fluffy tails, and come in just about every color you can imagine. Pow is purple, but I've seen brown and black ones, too. They communicate by barking.

[Basically, Arcadia's version of dogs.]

[ Bright smile! She's really helpful. ] And I don't know what that Nokémon is, but it's very cute!

[He turns to the Meowth, and she might hear him (offscreen) asking if she's a 'Nokémon'. Menma can't see, but the Meowth responds with another nyow and starts grooming her paws.]

What are Nokémon? Are they normally dangerous?

Nooo! Nokèmon are never dangerous unless you anger them on purpose! And the ones in your team are going to be your friends, so you don't have to worry.

So they're not monsters...that's good.

[Someone took his blades, so he can't fight properly.]

Yes, that's what these animals with the added fun of having special abilities are called.

Long story short, the cat's your defense against getting bumrushed by giant bugs, and a clear eyepatch doesn't have a point to begin with.

[At least he hasn't mentioned the Moons yet. With a capital M. Or the fact that there's no ocean, just air.]

I don't get what the cat has to do with giant bugs, but the eyepatch helps me see faraway objects, so it does have a point.

The whole place is crawling with all kinds of crazy shit that's got nothing better to do than pick a fight. Tell your cat thing to beat them up. Don't try to kick anything yourself, or you'll get bit.

There can't be anything around here I can't take. It'll take a bit of getting used to making a pet fight for me, but I think I'll get the hang of it eventually!
